Personal guidance on selecting your first air-cooled rig, including noise, power draw, and apartment suitability.
Who This Is For
You have decided to try home mining and want to buy your first air-cooled rig, but the spec sheets all look the same. You need someone who has actually run these machines in Korean apartments to tell you which models are realistic at 0.05 TH/s and above, and which ones will overheat in a closed spare room.
This consultation is for first-time buyers who have not yet purchased hardware. If you already own a rig and need troubleshooting, our ventilation assessment is a better fit.
What Is Included
- A review of your intended mining space: room size, window access, existing electrical outlets, and building ventilation rules
- Side-by-side comparison of two to three air-cooled models in your target hash rate range (0.05–0.1 TH/s)
- Noise level expectations based on our bench measurements, not manufacturer claims
- A projected monthly electricity cost using current KEPCO residential rates for your district
- A written summary delivered within 48 hours after the session
What Is Not Included
- Hardware sales or reseller commissions — we do not sell rigs
- Pool setup or wallet configuration (we can point you to resources, but that is outside this session)
- Legal or tax advice on mining income reporting
How It Works
- You book through our contact form, describing your space and budget range.
- We schedule a 90-minute session at our Gangnam office or via video call.
- During the session, we walk through your options and answer every question you have about noise, heat, and power.
- Within 48 hours, you receive a written recommendation with model names, expected wattage, and a candid note on any trade-offs.
Preparation
Bring photos of the room where you plan to run the rig, a photo of your electrical panel if possible, and your monthly electricity bill or KEPCO account details. Knowing your district rate tier helps us give accurate cost projections.
Pricing
The session fee is ₩180,000, payable before the appointment. This covers the consultation, written summary, and one follow-up email within seven days.
